'The pleasure garden'
The Royal Academy of Arts, Piccadilly, London
For our ninth RA:Late we were invited to dress the courtyard with two installations. The first a take on three blue stained glass windows, created from alternative materials to glass. We dressed every lamppost of the courtyard in foliage and hung these in-between.
The second was 'The Tree of Missed connections'. We dressed the winding metal archway of the gin grotto with foliage, flowers and tree branches, brown tags and pens:
"You cant always trust in fate, write a note and make a date!"
Guests of the party wrote down flirtatious comments and sweet compliments to admirers, friends and family.
