We created a 2m x 2m room in the centre containing a homage to Berta Zuckerlander’s infamous salons. The toast of Viennese society - and arguably the birthplace of the Secession itself. The room contained photos and trinkets alluding to her life and work, and her famous guests. Audiences could join the ranks of the Secession by signing the salon guest-book.
